Holy crap! Our All Shook Down Music Fest -- featuring Crystal Castles, Mistah Fab, Maus Haus, Con Brio, J-Boogie, and more -- is coming up this Saturday night!

The annual local music party goes down at the Regency Ballroom from 7 p.m. until you can keep your eyelids open, and tickets are on sale right now.

It's going to be rad no matter what -- but it's going to be even more rad (radder?) for VIP ticketholders, who will get swank seats on the VIP-only balcony, express entrance, one free drink ticket, a gift bag, and other perks.

Want in? Well, we're giving away two VIP upgrades to lucky ticket buyers this week. Hit the jump for more info.

Here goes: We've got two pairs of VIP upgrades (each one worth $25-$30) to give away. To win, you have to already have purchased a ticket to the show.

The rules for entry are very simple: Go to our Facebook page, like it (duh!), and leave a comment on our wall under this post. Tell us who you're most excited to see at All Shook Down, and why. We'll give points for earnestness, humor, imagination, and sheer enthusiasm. Winners will be picked Thursday afternoon.

If you want the VIP experience at All Shook Down for no extra cost, here's your chance. Let the creative commenting begin!

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
