Your most recent release, "Que Que," has quite a busy music video. What was the theme of the video?

The theme was just to make it as outrageous as possible. You can tell Yo Gabba Gabba was definitely a big influence and also Tim and Eric.

Are you still planning on releasing your own EP this year, given all the collaborations and singles you've done so far?

Well, I just released a free dubstep EP online, which is a collaboration EP I did with my mentor, Cory Enemy. My next plan is to release a Jump Up EP, and then release a proper follow-up to Westside, which will be strictly rootsy moombahton.

Is there more pressure since the tracks you have produced so far have been major hits?

Nah, I just get in the studio and do my thing. I don't really try to think about that stuff. I just love producing music.

Where can we find you in San Francisco this weekend?

Going to the Tenderloin and getting into trouble -- and also lots of Irish Car Bombs!

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
