Posted By on Wed, Jun 8, 2011 at 12:25 PM

This Friday, local party heroes Corey Sleazemore and Eli Glad of Lights Down return with the pioneer of moombahton, Dave Nada, along with French producer Canblaster, IHEARTCOMIX label owner Franki Chan, and local DJ Deevice.

Part of the duo Nadastrom, Dave Nada has also established himself as a solo DJ/producer, most notably for the genre now known as moombahton. Recently, he released "Blow Your Head Vol. 2 : Dave Nada Presents Moombahton" on Mad Decent Records. Here's the minimix to give you a preview:

French-producer and Club Cheval resident Canblaster will also be setting the scene with his UK funky/garage/tropical sounds, along with the party-making beats of Franki Chan.

We're offering you this night of sweaty booty-shaking for free. Just tell us in the comments why you would like to get down on this dance floor, and we'll pick a winner by noon tomorrow.

Note: Please leave your first and last name or an email address where we can reach you in your comment below. If you win, we'll put you on the list with space for a guest.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
