Stern Grove Festival 2011: Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Neko Case, the Dodos, the English Beat, and More

You know what summer means in San Francisco -- uh, besides fog? It means free concerts on Sundays at Stern Grove, courtesy of the long-running Stern Grove Festival. Today, festival organizers announced the lineup for the festival's 74th consecutive year, a series of free outdoor concerts as good as you're likely to find anywhere. It kicks off June 19 with a show featuring Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings. And that's just the beginning. Scope the full Stern Grove 2011 lineup after the jump.

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
