... because it just wouldn't fit inside the Warfield.

Okay, so we don't actually know whether that's what happened, but it seems likely enough. Adele is the newish pop star with a short name and a giant, giant voice -- you've heard it on "Rolling in the Deep," if not many other places -- who will be, um,  rolling through the Bay Area on June 4.

For reasons unclear, though possibly related to the supreme power

of her vocal chords and/or skyrocketing popularity, said show has been

moved to a larger venue. Which is lucky for those of you without

tickets to the Warfield show: More tickets are going on sale this Sunday.

Original tickets will still be honored, of course. Fresh Greek Theater tickets go on sale this Sunday, April 17, at 10 a.m. Lawn seats are $45, and reserved seats are $65; you can buy 'em here, and if you want 'em you should do it quickly. Soon Adele's name will be as big as her voice.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
