Video: We Go Behind the Scenes for an Afternoon with Pomplamoose

Posted By on Fri, Feb 25, 2011 at 1:59 PM

So by now you may have noticed, and perhaps read, this week's cover story on Pomplamoose. While working on that story we also followed band members Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn around for an afternoon while they filmed their new live web show -- and made this video. It features, among other things: Discussions of pita chips, Conte and Dawn wandering around their home in Sonoma County, Conte wearing a ridiculous hat, breeding MacBooks, and many live Pomplamoose performances. Check it out after the jump.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
