Brenmar Plays Santa Claus, Offers Up A Stream of His At It Again EP

If you were lucky enough to catch Brenmar at Icee Hot last month, then you know the Brooklyn-based house producer is in a creative zone right now, combining the tropical, drum-heavy sounds currently trending with the '90s influences of his native Chicago. And now, along with Discobelle Records, Brenmar offers up an early Christmas gift: A full stream of his new EP At It Again, which is out now.

Besides a healthy dose of awesomeness, the EP features the Ne-Yo sampling "Make Me Say," the bouncy, incendiary "Taking It Down," and a head-spinning remix of the title track from current kings of Juke house, DJ Rashad, DJ Earl, and DJ BMT. Toss in a couple more tracks, plus an additional remix from UK house producers Ikonika and Optimum, and you have yourself a bonafide release.

So here's my advice: skip that cup of coffee, and just click play below. They have the same effect.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
