Oakland's Bare Wires are one of our favorite garage-rock outfits right now, and this video for the song "Don't Ever Change" pretty much explains why. Sightings in the high school setting: Thee Oh Sees' John Dwyer (can you spot him?), smoking joints in the bathroom, kissing the nerdy girl, and general adolescent ruckus. We love. Watch it after the jump.

Here it is then, the video for "Don't Ever Change," a sassy song that sadly isn't on the vinyl copy of Bare Wires' latest record, Seeking Love, but was on the (sold-out) cassette version:

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
