Neil Young's Peninsula Warehouse Burns

The San Carlos warehouse Neil Young uses to store memorabilia from his more than 40-year career in music went up in flames this morning.

The fire caused an estimated $1 million in damages and burned Young's guitars, vintage cars, paintings, and other valuables.

The old warehouse, which did not have sprinklers, held at least six of Young's cars. Firefighters estimate that they saved 60 to 70 percent of the contents, and haven't called the fire suspicious.
