Wu-Tang Clan Is Playing San Francisco's Mezzanine This December

Nothing to fuck with.
  • Nothing to fuck with.
Nothing to fuck with.
YES: the Wu-Tang Clan (R.I.P. O.D.B.) is bringing its Shaolin magic on the road next month, and San Francisco lies in the path of destruction. (This less than a month after Ghostface Killah's show at Slim's next week.) So boom-bap to that! Come this way for details.

According to the group's current schedule, the rap wreckage will begin here: Wu-Tang Clan's surviving members will tear it up on the so-called "Rebirth Tour" at Mezzanine on December 2. This is a chance to see the remaining members of one of hip-hop's most iconic groups share a stage: RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface, Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Masta Killah.

We could insert more hype here, but we probably don't need to.

Also, note the Mezzanine's dress code for the show: "No athletic wear, no sweats, no overly baggy clothing." Worried much?

Then again:

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
