Well, the Giants didn't get much love from Jimmy Kimmel's L.A. crowd last night, but Kimmel did call out Marin's Huey Lewis on Sports being kind of a lame title for an essential multi-platinum-selling album. And Lewis, to his credit, summoned a rather humorous retort.
But more to the point: Lewis and the News also doled out some of the Southern soul off their first new album in 10 years last night. As we have reported, Soulsville serves up Stax masterpieces for Lewis and the News to knock out with their white-boy charm. Hear how well they pull it off after the jump.
Speaking of white boy charm, check out the section in this first

Fans take note: Lewis is signing albums at Best Buy and Borders in Marin county next Friday, if you're so inclined.
