Retro-retro-Hessians. Art = shit on the walls that you can't touch. Juggalos not welcome. Bands with names like Instant Asshole and Municipal Waste.

And you will get laid.

All this and more in a blitzkrieg monster-truck-style ad for Brainsqueeze, an Oakland music festival that is as cannily marketed as it is unintentionally (or intentionally?) hilarious. Who says irony is just for hipsters? This just may be the best local concert advertisement of all time.

I don't care what kind of music you like. If you have a grain of cool in you, this video should at least make you think about going to check out Brainsqueeze.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
