One of the most anticipated releases to come from the UK electronic music scene is the debut full-length album by Mount KimbieCrooks & Lovers, which is out now on Hotflush. The duo of Dominic Maker and Kai Campos have crafted one of the most inventive records of late, which melds the ideas of post-dubstep, IDM, beat music, and even a bit of indie-influenced instrumentation and songwriting into something wholly original and inspiring.

Electronic music hub Resident Advisor recently asked the duo to piece together a mix of their favorite tunes, some fresh remixes, and a bit of unreleased magic for the site's weekly podcast series. The website also interviewed the production outfit, talking about their mix selections, recent live performances, and what's on the horizon for Mount Kimbie. Listen to the mix and read a Q&A with the band members here.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
