Moondoggies in the Ladies' Room @ the Independent (Video)

The Moondoggies "It's a Shame, It's a Pity" from Yours Truly on Vimeo.

Ladies: the next time you're waiting in line for a stall at the Independent, you can pretend this lovely serenade by Seattle roots rockers Moondoggies is still happening. When the band was in San Francisco back in March, the musicians took a time out to test the bathroom acoustics at the club, playing a stripped-down version of "It's a Shame, It's a Pity."

The crew responsible for filming this jam, Yours Truly, is worth keeping an eye on. They're the folks responsible for the Morning Benders studio clip a couple months back, and their knack for capturing noteworthy performances behind the scenes is something special.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
