For fans of warbling vocals and the empyreal thrum of a harp being plucked, tonight is for you. At Amnesia, performance artists and harpist Baby Dee sings her melancholy hymnals from a place that is both eccentric and authentic. Her rustic vocals at times open up to almost operatic levels before shutting down and closing in on themselves into grating snarls. Dramatic ups and downs, her voice may take some getting used to, but her candid lyrics will keep you. Rich in story and imagery, told with resounding beauty, her music is avante garde and vaudeville but without the kitsch. What she sings is pure and true.

A transgender artist, she spent some time in Coney Island working a sideshow before leaving her New York counterparts to return home to Cleveland. She's been linked up with Will Oldham, Antony and the Johnsons, and Tom Waits, and fans of the aforesaid would rejoice in Baby Dee's appearance at Amnesia tonight. (9 p.m., $12)

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
