Local foursome My First Earthquake shoves as many holiday references as lyrically possible into "Together in Our Holiday Sweaters." The bouncy electro pop single gives props to a pot-bellied lover in a red snuggie who makes a gal feel so seasonal ("like a mall in December") and holds his sack very well. Ho ho ho.

Santa's baby (and the rest of her band) performs at Rickshaw Stop this Wednesday, their last live show until Feb. 2010, and one where perhaps they'll perform the sweater song live.

And speaking of knitting, waste away a couple hours (or minutes) making your personalized holiday sweater while chintzy synthy X-Mas songs play in the background over at weloveholidaysweaters.wehatesheep.com

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
