Track of the Day: Lissy Trullie Covers Hot Chip

I love covers so divergent from the original it takes you a minute to remember who first sang the tune. That happened to me over the weekend when I heard Lissy Trullie's rendition of Hot Chip's "Ready For The Floor." The former model-turned singer gives the electro single an exuberant pop boost, her vocals an androgynous come on delivered both rough and sweet.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
