Mars-1's latest show opened last weekend at the Jonathan Levine Gallery. There is also a new giclee print available, but it doesn't look be based on of the paintings for the show. The gallery has others available from Mars-1 but they are lithographs. The new print in question is a giclee print on watercolor paper, 26" x 24" signed and numbered in and edition of 50. Get the Print Here.

"What a Tomato" by Nouar

An artist based out of Los Angeles, Nouar had her solo show open right alongside Mars-1, and has a print available from the show. The lithograph is 20" x 16", signed and numbered in an edition of 450. The print is pretty much the exact size of the original. Get the Print Here.

"Karime" by Kelly Thompson

Kelly is an artist from New Zealand, she has a style that reminds me a bit of Erik Jones that I have shown here a few times. It's the graphic hair that does it. Until Feb 25th she is a having a sale in her print shop, all of the prints are 15% off. Each one of the prints are on German Etching paper and are limited to 10. I love the expressions on some of her figures. Get the Prints here.

"Yuuta" by Camilla d'Errico

The Wondercon is coming up this weekend, and one of the artists that will be there is Camilla D'Errico. If her booth is anything like the APE, it will be filled with prints, collectibles and so on. It will also be packed. So Gelaskins has a new print by Camilla, if you want to skip the hordes or can't make it to the show. Get the Print Here.

"New Mittens" by Drew Millward

Letter Pressed has decided to release some prints that are more affordable and are perfect for the way the economy is right now. The difference with these new prints are that even though they are limited, they will not be signed by the artist. This new print by Drew Millward is 5″ x 7″, one-color letter press printed on Lettra 100% cotton printmaking paper in an edition of 30. Get the Print Here.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
