New Lady Sovereign Video: She's "Sick" of Fame Too

Lady Sovereign - So Human

In the '00s, it's now a rite of passage to dis the fame you built on your debut record by your third album. The outspoken, temperamental rapper Lady Sovereign definitely gave the media plenty to discuss--from her on stage meltdowns to her battles with local boys Zach Slow and MC Jelly Donut. Slow and Do' don't merit mentions on her new track, "So Human," which has a related video posted above. The single riffs off the Cure's "Close To Me" and features the pint sized poet mocking music mags, therapists' offices, and club life.
