It only makes sense, right? Not only did critics compare their music to Peter Gabriel, but the band name dropped the Sledgehammer in the middle of their song...sooner or later Vampire Weekend was surely hoping Gabriel was gonna hear their tune. Well not only did Mr. Gabriel listen to Vampire's "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa," but he covered it with Brit dance floor kings Hot Chip. Best part of this revision? The lines, "But this feels so natural, Peter Gabriel too; And it feels so unnatural, to sing your own name." Touche! Give the song a listen here.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
