"Clown of Doom" by Chet Zar

Last month, the Corey Helford Gallery had a group show dedicated to Clowns, as creepy as they may be to some people. One of my favorite works from the show was the piece this print was made from. I was hoping Chet was planning on turning his Clown of Doom into a print and as luck would have it, he did. This is a special collectors edition print, so the size is bigger than his other prints. It's is 17" x 22" on velvet art paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 100. The print isn't framed, but I think it would be a good idea to get a frame that looked as good as the one Chet used. "Blue Rose" by Sylvia Ji

Sylvia Ji has just released a new print over at the This one is titled "Blue Rose" and is 14″x 14″ on watercolor paper. It is signed and numbered in an edition of 100. I am a big fan of all the work that she has done, but the last few such as "La Catrina," "Rosa" and this new one are really amazing. That blue along with subtle rose, green and almost gold colors are very striking. Get It Here.

"Heartfelt Sentiments" set by Jeremy Fish

As you might have read on the site here, the solo show of Jeremy Fish opened this past week at Fifty24 SF. Upper Playground just announced a a print set by Jeremy, and it's killer. The set features four screen prints on wood panels, signed and numbered in an edition of 100. Looks like the prints come in a little folder as well. I love the idea that these prints are on wood, kind of different from paper that we always get. Get It Here.

"Flight" by Kelly Vivanco

I've been wanting to feature a print by this Californian artist for a while now -- she just recently started to get into releasing such. She also will be curating a show at the Distinction Gallery this coming December 13th. I really love her style, she paints wonderfully in both acrylics as well as oils. The print shown here is 12" x 10", signed and numbered in an edition of 50. The original painting was in acrylics, and you can see that in the way she creates washes in the background. Get It Here.

"Love Blows" by Tara McPherson

The original 32″x 20″11 color screenprint of this image sold out long ago, but since it is a favorite of Tara's she has decided to "reissue" the print. This version is 13.5″x 24″ offset lithograph on 8 pt cover. The print is signed and is only $20. It is open-edition so you will always have the ability to pick up one of these prints, but with Christmas on the way and the print being so affordable, might as well pick one up right now. Get It Here.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
