On Saturday head to Union Square to get in the Christmas spirit at the Fantasy of Lights.
Between 3 pm and 6 pm there will be carolers, kids activities,
jugglers, facepaint and apparently even Santa's reindeer. Not to
mention pictures with the big man in red himself.
On both Saturday and Sunday the Amory hoasts the Mission Bazaar.
It's open between 10 and 6 pm on Saturday and 11 and 6 pm on Sunday. In
addition to shopping there will be dance and music. Admission is $5.
Saturday evening, local rockers the Traditional Fools play El Rio in the Mission alongside HANK IV and Mayyors. The show is $7. The Clay continues their midnight movie fun with Labyrinth both Friday and Saturday. The showings are 21+ and will have a bar. Saturday night you can catch some Bowie karaoke.
On Sunday Aimee Mann brings Christmas to Bimbo's 365 (1025 Columbus Avenue).
This is her 3rd annual Christmas show and she plays along with Patton
Oswalt, Grant-Lee Phillips, Nellie McKay and Morgan Murphy. The show is
21+ and tickets are supposedly already sold out so we hope you're in.
