Black Friday Free Tix: Sebastien Tellier and Mike Relm + Peanut Butter Wolf

Posted By on Fri, Nov 28, 2008 at 9:02 AM

It's Black Friday but we're business as usual here at All Shook Down. So for the most faithful of our readers -those who find themselves checking this page when they could be out getting some marginally awesome deals or sleeping in- here's a choice of two freebies from our friends at the Mezzanine:

A) A pair of tix to the local leg of Sebastien Tellier's "Sexuality" tour, which hits the Mezz on Thursday, December 4.

B) A pair of tix to see Mike Relm and Peanut Butter Wolf create real-time VJ sets at the same place on Friday, December 5.

We've only got one pair for each show, so act fast. To win, respond with your real name (so we can leave the tix for you at will call) as well as a valid e-mail address and type in the name of the show you'd like to see. First to comment on each show takes the tix. --Janine Kahn

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
