Big Deal Fundraiser at SomArts in Nov.

Posted By on Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 12:15 PM

Art is very cool, but terminal illness is pretty much the opposite. Head out to the Big Deal Art Sale and Fundraiser at SomArts Saturday, Nov. 8 and help your fellow artsy man out. With works on sale from Shepard Fairey, Rex Ray, and lots more notable names, all proceeds go to directly to Visual Aid's programs for artists afflicted with life-threatening diseases. And if being a good human being isn't enough, there will also be delicious libations on hand. Visit for ticket info. --Oscar Pascual

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
