Those who acknowledge that Radiohead is a great band may also know that Jonny Greenwood is a great music composer. Among his notable work on the film score for There Will Be Blood is Greenwood's BBC-commissioned piece, "Popcorn Superhet Receiver," which he'll be performing at the Herbst Theatre Aug. 21, alongside SF symphony's resident conductor Benjamin Shwartz and the Magik*Magik Orchestra. Tickets are available now. --Oscar Pascual

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
