Finally they named a song after the lyrics. Sigur Rós ' new single is "Gobbledigook," a track involving lots of hand clapping and possible Icelandic lyrics and a beat that'll make you instantly giddy. It's got none of the navel gazing the band's performed in the past. Instead this is like Animal Collective from a foreign land (or even more of a foreign land than usual), and it comes off the new album Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (if you need the translation: "With a buzz in our ears we play endlessly")."Gobbledigook" is better than Prozac to wake up your Monday, and it's available for download as our MP3 of the Day here. Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
