Photographer's notes: Croquet, a tea party and roses painted red...Alice and her entourage had a day of play in the summer sun at Stern Grove Sunday afternoon. Guests enjoyed the laid back atmosphere while stunning creations of original design were modeled by beautiful ladies and dashing gents. Petticoats, parasols, top hats, and velvet jackets brought Alice's world to life.

Hypnotic trance music filled the air as guests attending, lounged on the grass or perused the wares. By midday, the Croquet participants were happily on the court with the signature flamingos in hand. Next came a Tea Party that Lewis Carroll surely smiled upon.

The anticipated fashion show ended the event to grand applause. What a wonderfully delightful day of fashion, beauty, talent and imagination. --Jen Cash

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
