MP3 of the Day: Rob Halford and Fight

Posted By on Mon, Jun 9, 2008 at 8:01 AM

[image-1]Rob Halford will, of course, forever be associated with metal titans Judas Priest. But for a couple years in the mid ‘90s, he headed up a band called Fight with Priest’s drummer Scott Travis. Now that Judas Priest is hitting the spotlight again with a summer tour and a new album, Nostradamus, Halford wants to remind his fans about Fight – with a new digital ‘box set’ of Fight’s three albums, Mutations, the War of Words, and Small Deadly Space. For a limited time, he’s giving away three singles from the new remixed and remastered discs on his website, which you can access here. – Jennifer Maerz

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
