Glenn Barr "Bad Betty"

I'm always happy to show any prints I can find from Glenn Barr, and this is one of my all time favorites that he has made. It is super hard to find, and I'm sure you can see why. This print is just amazing, colorful and a guaranteed conversation piece. I was able to buy one of these a long time ago, and it looks great all framed up. Glenn made another Betty Rubble inspired piece called "Bored and Horny" which looks amazing as well. This lithograph is signed an numbered. Get It Here

David MacDowell "Wrath Of Veruca"

David MacDowell is an amazing artist; he is a blast to talk to and is really the reason why I started to curate shows at all. His work is always a treat to look at and always surprising. I don't even try to guess what he'll come up with next. David has two paintings in the "Attack of the B Movie Art Show," and I suggest you just come down and see them. His work "Freaky Friday" in the show has gotten quite popular already.

This print is made off of his painting for the "Masters Reborn" show at the "Just Be Complex Gallery" in Portland. It's his tribute to Theodore Gericault's "The Raft Of The Medusa". Everything in this piece is amazing: the sky, the Oompa Loompa just chilling, all the way up to Augustus Gloop getting ready to chuck over the side. Get It Here

Ojimbo "Acolytes of Cthulhu"

Jim Sheely, otherwise known as Ojimbo is an artist I have been watching for a long time now. Pretty much right when I got interested in this kind of art. It just amazed me that people were making stuff like this. Jim has a killer style, and just by looking at the detail in this work you can see that he really produces some intense work. He has been selling his work on Etsy and Roq La Rue for the past year or so. This print is on heavyweight matte paper. Get It Here

Lisa Petrucci "Bouncing Bat Doll"

Slingshot Press has a new print out this week, this one is from Seattle-based artist Lisa Petrucci. She has had her work shown all over the world at such galleries as Roq La Rue, MF Gallery, Mondo Bizzarro in Italy, Jonathan Levine, Shooting Gallery the list goes on an on. She has a super colorful, youthful style to her work. I think what caught me the quickest with this print is it just looks fun, and I'm a comic book nerd. This print like all of those from Slingshot press are limited to 50, for only $50. Get It Here

Joe Havasy "Atomic FireAttack"

An artist from Athens, GA, Joe Havasy's work is a blend of comical and disturbing scenes. His work is all very colorful, humorous and you can see that he really lays the paint on creating some thick textured works. This print is one of his limited edition prints. I love how that monster is just ripping up that city and everyone seems so surprised by it. The print is limited to 100, signed and numbered on heavy matte paper. Get It Here

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
