Young Women's Choral Projects of San Francisco presents a folk-inspired repertoire that will transport concertgoers to rural villages and back to our exciting concert venue. At the concert, you’ll hear arrangements of folksongs by Zoltán Kodály and Johannes Brahms, as well as traditional songs from Mexico, France, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Japan and the United States. Spirituals and gospel numbers will also be highlighted as an important part of American traditional music. The finale of YWCP’s year of remarkable musical growth, this Spring Showcase Concert features our four performing ensembles: Prelude Chorus, Allegro Chorus, Allegro Ensemble and the Young Women’s Chorus.
