ODC Dance company presents its annual field trip to Mission and Third, "ODC/Dance Downtown." With a whopping five world premieres by choreographers Brenda Way and K.T. Nelson performed by the company pros, the series also features a few different food-related nights: March 20 sees a "small plates" presentation with free tapas and wine before the super-short show, and the 28th is "Italian ice night." The dance works themselves, edible treats aside, promise contemporary dance fans all the second-position sautés, reverse-gender lifts, and flexed feet they could want, plus a total lack of tutus.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
