Wall of Song is a collaborative work by artists Mel Day and Michael Namkung. The project invites people from all backgrounds, beliefs, political affiliations, orientation and countries of origin – no matter their ability to carry a tune – to record themselves singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” In this time of great unknowing, uncertainty and division, this is a wall that brings us together. The artists invite you to add your voice to the work before the event by singing online at wallofsongproject.com. At 7:30 pm the artists will lead everyone in signing together, followed by a screening of the work.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
