Knowing what's wrong is easy. Everyone wants to tell you what's wrong, with the environment, with animals, with the climate. They're in trouble. They're endangered. It's sad. But where are the solutions, man? A person can't survive on worry and self-flagellation alone. At Linda Reibel's talk, she's here to describe what's wrong, yes, but also to sketch out a few possible rights. Her book, The Earth-Friendly Food Chain, is a perky little tome, designed to get you composting, subscribing to a CSA, and other simple but forward-thinking behaviors. One of the best suggestions from the author's Web site: "Choose unusual foods."

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
