Can't get away to Vegas this week for a sexy, skin-ful all-male dance revue? Lucky you — the Thunder from Down Under, one of the world's premiere male strip-and-dance shows, is coming to San Francisco (to a comedy club, no less). For two nights only, catch these Aussie studs outside of their natural environment. Cheer on their oiled-up abdominal muscles and shriek like a terrified animal as they pull off their pants and shake their grown-up male butts around as a job. Have an uptight co-worker who needs to let loose? Wouldn't you love to gather around with cocktails and watch an Australian guy dance on a friend's lap? Put on your best bachelorette veil or bachelorette sash and tiara and spend the night laughing, chair-dancing, and finally find out for yourself whether Australian strippers shake their hips counterclockwise.

Tue., Oct. 1, 8 p.m.; Wed., Oct. 2, 8 p.m., 2013

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
