Born in Berlin, Germany, Karsten Windt was first violinist with the Deutsche Symphony Orchestra (DSO) from 1991 until 2011, performing regularly in the Berlin Philharmonic Hall and touring all over Europe, Asia, North and South America.
Violist Deanna Badizadegan currently studies with Kim Kashkashian at the New England Conservatory, where she is pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Viola Performance.
Since giving her Carnegie Hall debut in 1994, Angela Lee’s “amazing finesse, control and coloration” [San Francisco Chronicle] and “astonishingly rich tone” [San Francisco Examiner] has been celebrated with recitals in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center and Victor Borge Hall.
