The Symbionese Liberation Army and Patricia Hearst, Queen of the Revolution is an in-depth exploration of Patty Hearst’s kidnapping and her role in the rise and fall of SLA, a left-wing terrorist group that formed in the waning days of San Francisco Bay Area’s counterculture revolution. Patty Hearst's actions not only suggest she became a willing participant in the SLA after her kidnapping, but new information revealed for the first time in reporting for the book points to Hearst staging her own kidnapping.
