Something about the holidays makes people want to see men in tights and women in bizarre shoes. It’s just a fact. At the Smuin Ballet company’s The Christmas Ballet, the price of admission gets you all that and sassy twisting — the show is designed to give you all the tutu you need in late December, and also much more, but not bore you. Tap and swing dance find their way into the numbers, and two all-new pieces join the traditional ones choreographed by late beloved choreographer Michael Smuin.
