Waltz the night away at the Duchess of Devonshire’s Costume Ball: 1897 – a truly grand ball at the beautiful Alameda Elks Lodge Ballroom. After a vintage dance lesson at 7pm, formal ballroom dancing continues from 8pm to midnight to the music of Franklin Beau Davis & The Brassworks band. No partners required; all set dances & mixers will be taught and called. Historical, fantasy, or Carnevale costume or modern evening dress is admired, but not required. Light refreshments and no host bar. Tickets are $20 (by February 24); $25 at the door.
