Hear a panel of key figures from the civil rights movement discuss the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at Grace Cathedral to commemorate the famous speech he gave there fifty years ago, and then watch a screening of the speech. Panelists include Belva Davis, a barrier-breaking female TV journalist who covered Dr. King’s visit to San Francisco, and Clarence B. Jones, advisor, speechwriter and friend to Dr. King. The panel will be preceded by a 3 pm ecumenical service in the Cathedral honoring Dr. King with sacred scripture, music, prayer.
