Small Art Music Projects presents award-winning, San Francisco-based bass player and composer Matt Small with his lauded modern jazz group The Crushing Spiral Ensemble. The expert ensemble performing Small's original compositions features some of the Bay Area’s best musicians who have an impressive collective history, with involvement in such projects as San Francisco’s Clubfoot Orchestra, ROVA sax quartet, and many other Bay Area-based projects.
