Join Grace Cathedral in celebrating the summertime social phenomenon when 100,000 young people converged in San Francisco for peace and love – and be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
For this 50th Anniversary Summer of Love Dance Party, you can dance in the aisles of the cathedral to classics from 1967 and modern tuned inspired by the artistic spirit of that era, courtesy of the Make It Funky DJs (and Mad Alchemy’s liquid light show (echoing the heyday of the Bay Area’s psychedelic ballrooms). A nostalgic, exuberant and free event suitable for families/people of all ages.
