There are at least two things we simply cannot resist here at SF Weekly: sweets and a good show. Indulge! provides them both. A benefit for ODC Theater, Indulge! in-vites the community onto the ODC stage for a night of sweets, savories, spirits, and dance performances. The treats come courtesy of Anthony’s Cookies, Schulzie’s Bread Pudding, and the Three Babes Bakeshop, with drinks provided by Bluxome Street Cellars and Square One Vodka, among others. The performances will be done pop-up style, appearing in any corner of the theater. Seeing LEVYDance is probably worth the price of admission by itself: Artistic Director Benjamin Levy was recently named one of the “top 25 to watch” by Dance Magazine. ODC artists-in-residence Amara Tabor-Smith and Amy Seiwert’s Imagery will also perform. There is a silent auc-tion for a month of free classes at ODC, and several local restaurants are offering a dinner package that includes entry into Indulge. That’s Delfina, AQ, and Foreign Cin-ema, to name a few. We’ll be leaving the diet at home, and suggest you do the same.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
