Still Going: Show Preview

Wednesday, Dec 26 2012

"Work That Shit Party" is a hell of a manifesto to get behind, but it works for New York house outfit Still Going. Also the name of one of its recent singles, the phrase perfectly conveys what the longtime partnership between Eric Duncan and Oliver Spencer is all about. In the '00s, their fun releases on James Murphy's DFA label found their way into the record bags of many discerning selectors in the global underground. Highly accomplished DJs in their own right, together they're an unstoppable force that does things the old-fashioned way, with long blends and deep selection that's as much for the dancers as it is for the heads. Catch them together at Sunset and Honey Soundsystem's third annual New Year's Eve Bash, alongside tech-house ace Manik.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
