Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

Loose, a little shaggy and the most fun of all of the Trek movies, 1986’s Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home brings the crew of the Starship Enterprise back to present day (read: mid-’80s) San Francisco as Kirk, Spock and the team learn to cope with rush-hour traffic, archaic computer technology, and punks on Muni – all in service of saving the whales.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage.
