U.K. production and DJ duo Stanton Warriors recently featured a promo mix of the "freshest booty bassline bangers" on their Web site. The 30-minute session perfectly summed up their "nü-skool breaks" sound: digitally sequenced, kinetic drum loops and swollen, detuning basslines that borrow from tech-house and funk. Influenced by Afrika Bambaataa and acid house, Warriors Dominic Butler and Mark Yardley add sirens and other jacked-up resonances to their mixes, which are topped with a loose hip-hop vibe.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
