Speeding Otto (Get It?)

Wednesday, Feb 25 2009

Los Angeles–based rapper Busdriver (Regan Farquar) is a tough act to follow, speedwise and stylistically. On his most recent single, "Ellen Disingenuous," his rapid delivery leaves his lyrics indecipherable, his words neatly matched to beats more typical of hardcore techno than of hip-hop. Busdriver brings that breakneck aesthetic to the "Bohemian Carnival," where he'll share the stage with performance troupes Fou Fou Ha! and Vau de Vire Society.
