Sheldon Greenberg Cinéma Vérité

Sheldon Greenberg experiments with painting as film by repeating images and strips of information that translate into a moment of time. Images sometimes are overlapped or erased, diffused and become something other than reality, like a memory or a dream. Greenberg's unique oil paintings on paper are composed as a digital palimpsest subsequently printed and mounted on aluminum.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage.
