Sex and The City Live

If you can't help but hear the plinking of the Sex and the City theme tune after the HBO fizz pop and you love Drag Queens, then this is the hilarious show for you! An Oasis long-runner, join D'arcy Dollinger, Sue Casa, Lady Bear and Steven LeMay as our favorite New Yorkers as they present two new episodes of this unmissable parody. Endorsed by series creator Darren Knight who proclaimed it "funnier than it was on TV", Sex in the City Live! lets us relive some of the best moments from the smash-hit show, including Carrie's incessant rhetorical questions and fabulous outfits, Miranda's on and off again relationship with Steve and Charlotte and Samantha's VERY different attitudes to finding love in the Big Apple. Expect big laughs, big hair and big fun at this uniquely SF event.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
