Selling tips

Comments

While vintage shops may be a harder place to sell these days, they are still a fantastic place to shop — especially now, because of the huge selection they are receiving. If you still want to try your luck at selling stuff, Kate Morrow, store manager at Buffalo Exchange on Haight Street, shared these tips to help you make the most of your time.

1. Come in the morning when the stores are less crowded, or call to make an appointment.

2. Call stores to ask what styles they are currently looking for before dragging in all your items and waiting in a long line.

3. Bring only clean, unstained, barely worn duds. Most stores want only the best of whatever styles they typically carry.

4. Carry current ID — you'll need it to get your money or store credit.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
