Our 2017 Artist in Residence, best-selling author and international performer Sarah Kay, will share her passion for inspiring children to find their voices, and will explore creativity as a path to empathy and a way to transform grief, during two sessions of The Forum, on October 15 and 22.
Sarah Kay is an American poet and spoken word performer, born and raised in New York City. She is a best-selling author (No Matter the Wreckage, The Type), founder/co-director of Project Voice and performed at a TED conference in Long Beach, California, in 2011, where she received two standing ovations.
